St Ouen's Manor is home to Charlie and Georgina Malet de Carteret, and has been passed down through the de Carteret family for almost 900 years. Charlie and Georgina are devoted to restoring the natural beauty of St Ouen's Manor to preserve this important part of Jersey's heritage, and ensuring that the Manor is a green space with a self-sustainable future.


Charlie Malet De Carteret

Charlie is the President of the National Trust for Jersey. Seigneur of St Ouen, the oldest of the feudal Seigneuries in Jersey. Charlie has recently retired from SANNE Group, where he was a Director of Private Clients, and has worked on the establishment of philanthropic trusts and foundations. Charlie is an art collector and passionate about making St Ouen's Manor a platform for the arts and creative projects, making the Manor an active part of Jersey's culture and heritage.


Georgina Malet De Carteret

Georgina has previously worked for HRH The Prince of Wales on his charities. She has an in-depth knowledge and love of art history, culture and the natural world and, alongside Charlie, Georgina is dedicating her experience and expertise to the thoughtful restoration and conservation of St Ouen's Manor and Gardens, as well as supporting its charitable endeavours.
